ISIC card the only proof of student status recognized worldwide. Every full-time study student will receive this ID card upon commencement of studies, and the card is valid for 16 months. However, it has to be re-validated later on. Students get access all the UP apps using the ISIC card. Furthermore, it serves as a proof of your student status outside UP, and gives you opportunity to get exclusive discounts and various advantages (in shops, restaurants, education, entrance fees, travelling, accommodation, bank allowances, etc.). Once your card is invalid, you can prolong its validity by buying a re-validation stamp, otherwise your card will be discarded from the active ID card system and it will become useless outside UP.
