How can I pay for the administrative fee for the application from foreign countries, e.g. Slovakia, Germany?

Use IBAN symbol CZ09 0100 0000 1910 9633 0227 for application payment and SWIFT code, both of them can be found on the website of the faculty you are applying to.

Notice for applicants from foreign countries: We highly recommend you to pay for the application using your credit card - that way you do not pay any fees, which is the most favourable way. Use ONLY charging option OUR.

We DO NOT accept payments in euros or any other foreign currencies. You should only pay in CZK. If you pay in any other currency, the payment might not be successful.

Verification code problem

I have not received my verification code after registration. What should I do?

If you have not received a verification code do not worry. Verification code is not sent immediately after registration but after your first login to the system. Try logging in first. You should check whether your e-mail address is receiving messages. Also check your spam folder as the e-mail with verification code might be in there. Once it seems that nothing is happening for a while try to click on link “Click here for re-sending the verification code”. You will receive verification code e-mail every time you log in until your e-mail address is verified.

High-school IZO number

Do I have to search for my high-school IZO number if I didn't study at Czech high-school?

No, you do not have to. This applies only to students who studied high school in Czech Republic, if you studied abroad check the I do not know the School ID number and cannot find it out.

Problem with printing shortened application form

I have a problem with printing the shortened version of application form. When I click on the shortened version in the system only an empty page opens up. When I try to print the page only an empty paper comes out.

It is quite probable that the system logged you out after a longer period of inactivity. You will be logged out of the system after five minutes of inactivity in actual setting. Do not worry, click on Log out button, log in again and everything will work just fine.

Forgotten User ID

I forgot my User ID. When I try to register once again, I cannot enter my birth certificate number and the system tells me that it is already occupied.

If you forget your User ID, you do not have to register again. Our Online Application Form allows you to enter your birth certificate number only once. Just fill in your e-mail address in the Forgotten Password form. You will receive an e-mail with new password and your User ID.

Shortened application form attachments

What do I need to send except for printed shortened version of the application form? For e.g. some medical certification or something different?

We highly recommend to read all the instructions regarding admission procedure on the website of the faculty to which you are applying to. Each faculty has different requirements for admission procedure. You can find all the details at Palacký University website. You can also find links to the websites of all faculties in the list of submitted application forms. (View instructions in Operation menu)

Problem with filling in the Online Application Form

I have a problem with filling in the Online Application Form, the system does acts oddly, and nothing seems to work correctly.

First, try to use a different computer to fill in the application, or at least a different web browser. We can guarantee full compatibility only with Mozzila Firefox and Internet Explorer, but not with other web browsers.

Further, Online Application Form system might be overloaded, which can happen sometimes. In that case you’ll have to wait until the system can work again properly. If you are still experiencing problems with filling out a form, contact us at stag-help@upol.cz with all the information necessary regarding the error. Do not forget to send us your User ID (if you are already registered) and all the details which you are unable to fill in as a result of system failures. Do not send us your password, we do not need it.

Shortened application form postal address

Where should I send the letter with shortened version of the application form?

Please send the shortened version of the application form to the address of a faculty to which you are applying and which requires the shortened version. If you are applying to more than one faculty, send the shortened version to each faculty. You can find addresses of each faculty in study requirements of each faculty. Links to the faculties which you are applying for are in the list of applications. (View instructions in Operation menu) Read the requirements thoroughly and carefully.

Number of months spent at university

I am a university student, how do I determine how many months I have studies at university?

Academic year lasts for 12 months from 1.9 to 31.8., in other words all the months spent at university (note: this is only informative, it serves no other reason).

How many applications can I file in at UP?

As many as you want. You can file any number of applications at our university.

Shortened application forms and documents regarding payment proof

Do I have to give proof of payment when the transaction is made from account to account? How should I provide an online payment document?

Document regarding payment proof is usually sent with printed shortened application form. However, these documents are required by some faculties only. Cyril and Methodius Faculty of Theology does not require sending either shortened application form or payment documents.

Faculty of Science does not require either of these documents as well. However, if a student requests an exempt from admission exam he or she has to send both shortened application form, payment documents as well as other documents necessary.

Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry requires to send both payment documents and shortened version of the application form. The payment document is either bank statement or a receipt of postal order (faculty checks variable symbol). Faculty requires the payment document in case the payment wouldn’t pair with application. If you proceed to payment by your payment / debit card in the Online Application Form you do not have to send any document. Faculty of Law doesn’t require both shortened application form or payment documents.
