Eduroam CAT

The eduroam CAT app will help you set up the eduroam Wifi network quickly and easily on your computer or Android mobile device. If you already had a network set up from an earlier time, please remove the network from your device before setting up the network using the app. Before you start setting up WiFi, make sure you have set the password for Eduroam - the password for Eduroam or VPN is different from the password for the Portal - you can find how to set the password here Manual for password change.

Computer installer

The installer is located at https://cat.eduroam.org. Then select your home institution (Palacky University in Olomouc), download and run the installer. The installer will ask you for Eduroam login data - enter the login in the form PortalID@upol.cz and the password for the eduroam network that you set in the Portal. Once the installation is complete, you will be able to connect to Wifi like any other.
