To configure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), open a private/incognito browser window on your computer and navigate to mojeheslo.upol.cz.<br />

Sign in using your university account in the following format login@upol.cz and your university password.<br />
<br />

Select Microsoft Authenticator as your authentication method.<br />
<br />
You may register multiple Authenticator devices if needed (for example, both your smartphone and tablet).<br />

The website will prompt you to install the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device.<br />

Android – Google Play Store<br />
iPhone – Apple App Store<br />

After installing the application:<br />
<br />
Click Next.<br />
Click Next again.<br />
A unique QR code will be generated.<br />
<br />
It is recommended to allow notifications for the Microsoft Authenticator app.<br />

Leave the QR code displayed on your computer screen and open the Microsoft Authenticator application on your mobile device.<br />

In the Microsoft Authenticator app, choose either:<br />

Add work or school account, or<br />
Scan QR code<br />
<br />
Scan the QR code displayed on your computer.<br />
<br />
Your university account will be added to the Authenticator app.<br />
<br />
Once the QR code has been scanned, return to your computer and click Next.<br />

A numeric verification code will appear on your computer.<br />
<br />
Enter this code into the Microsoft Authenticator app and confirm it.<br />
<br />
When the verification is successful, the MFA setup is complete.<br />
